Additionally, they meet the criteria outlined in the European Council Packing Directive 94/62/EC and Legislative Decree No. 1935/2004, dated October 27, 2004.

In the absence of published documentation, the following conditions serve as maximum allowable measurements:

The cumulative concentration levels of incidentally introduced lead, mercury, cadmium, and hexavalent chromium shall not exceed 100 parts per million by weight (100PPM). 

Furthermore, the intentional use of these materials in packages and package components has been abolished.
